Natalie Broda

In all my work, I strive to create a more equitable, informed world.

I am a connector and an idea maker. A creative and a sleuth. Consistently, constantly curious.

I am a lifelong storyteller and an award winning-journalist of nearly 10-years. I’ve cut my teeth on stories in the rust belt, automotive cities of southeast Michigan including Detroit, Flint and Pontiac — Working for local and regional publications to create authentic, accurate and educational reporting.

I studied journalism, communications, African diaspora, literature and drama at the University of Michigan-Flint, graduating in spring 2016. Since then, my work has been featured in the Associated Press, CNN and the New York Times. It was also my honor to serve as Editor in Chief of The Michigan Times student newspaper for two years.

I am a passionate researcher of climate change, economic development and social justice reform.

I’m Natalie Broda, and it’s a pleasure to meet you.
